Saturday night saw Mike Mataragas return with the Mars Racing Series at Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Ill.) for the FALS Frenzy. In a stout field of 42 cars, Mataragas came one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a fourth place finish. Needing a second place finish or better in his B-Main to make the $15,000-to-win A-Main, Mike logged a fifth place outing. (Ryan Roberts photo).
